Kids! Grab your fishing pole and join us for a little fun in the sun! Don't know how to fish? Don't worry, we'll help you out. Our event is designed to encourage children 12 and under to learn angler ethics and exercise responsible sportsmanship while spending quality time outdoors.

Location: Johnstown Reservoir. Located in Rocksbury Ridge, 1/4 mile east of I-25 on Colorado Highway 60. (Off CO Highway 60, go north on High Plains Blvd. to Rocksbury Lane, make a right, drive east until you reach the lake.)
Check in at the west dock.
Time: 7 - 9:45 a.m. (YES, it's early! We told you, the early worm...) Winners will be announced at 10 AM.
Cost: FREE
Ages: 12 and under
Fishing License: Not required (free weekend)
Supplies: You need to bring your own pole and bait.
Catch and release is encouraged, but not mandatory.
